We’re now well into the tax year and despite it being the middle of summer, there are still plenty of deadlines to keep businesses on their toes. Please find below some key tax & accounting deadlines coming up for businesses and employers over this summer:

July

19th July – Postal payment of Class 1A NICs, CIS and PAYE or 22nd July ’21 if payment made electronically

 31st July- Deadline for the second payment on account for tax year ending 5th April 2021

August

1st August – Deadline for Corporation Tax payment for accounting period ended 31st October 2020

7th August – VAT returns and payments for quarter ended 30th June 2021

19th August – Postal payment of Class 1A NICs, CIS and PAYE or 22nd August if payment made electronically

31st August – Filing deadline for Corporation Tax returns with accounting period end 31st August 2020

September

1st September – Deadline for Corporation Tax payment for accounting period end 30th November 2020

7th September – VAT returns and payments for quarter ended 31st July 2021

14th September – Corporation Tax quarterly instalment for large companies with a year end of 31st March 2022

19th September – Postal payment of Class 1A NICs, CIS and PAYE or 22nd September if payment made electronically
