Key tax & accounting deadlines to 31 August 2022

As we move through the tax year, here’s a reminder of the approaching tax & accounting deadlines affecting businesses.

June 2022

1 June – Deadline for corporation tax payment for accounting period ended 31 August 2021

1 June – Updated advisory fuel rates published

7 June (10th if paid by direct debit) – VAT returns and payments for quarter ended 30 April 2022

14 June – CTSA quarterly instalments due for large companies with a year end May, August, November, February

19 June – Postal payment of Class 1A NICs and PAYE, or 22 June if payments made electronically

30 June – Deadline for submission of corporation tax returns for accounting periods ending 30 June 2021

July 2022

1 July – Deadline for corporation tax payments for period ended 30 September 2021

6 July – Deadline to submit 2021/22 P11D’s

7 July (10th if paid by direct debit) – VAT returns and payments for quarter ended 31 May 2022

14 July – CTSA quarterly instalments due for large companies with a year end June, September, December, March

19 July – Postal payment of Class 1A NICs and PAYE, or 22 July if payments made electronically

August 2022
