Key tax & accounting deadlines to 30 November 2022

As we move through the tax year, here’s a reminder of the approaching tax & accounting deadlines affecting businesses.

September 2022

1 September – Deadline for corporation tax payment for accounting period ended 30 November 2021

1 September – Updated advisory fuel rates published

7 September (10th if paid by direct debit) – VAT returns and payments for quarter ended 31 July 2022

14 September – CTSA quarterly instalments due for large companies with a year end August, November, February, May

19 September – Postal payment of Class 1A NICs and PAYE, or 22 September if payments made electronically

30 September – Deadline for submission of corporation tax returns for accounting periods ending 30 September 2021

October 2022

1 October – Deadline for corporation tax payments for period ended 31 December 2021

7 October (10th if paid by direct debit) – VAT returns and payments for quarter ended 31 August 2022

14 October – CTSA quarterly instalments due for large companies with a year end September, December, March, June

19 October – Postal payment of Class 1A NICs and PAYE, or 22 October if payments made electronically

November 2022
