Curo’s ’10 for 10′ – 10 challenges for fun and for charity

We were 10 years ‘young’ in 2015/16 and the professional yet fun-loving team at Curo celebrated by doing 10 challenges over the year. Some were for charity and some for fun. Here’s a snippet of we got up to as part of our ’10 for 10′:

Challenge #1 – Chris’ cycle ride across the Cotswolds raising money for the NSPCC – find out how he got on here.

Challenge #2 – Possibly the first of its kind in an accountancy practice….it’s Curo’s ‘Doggy Decathlon’! Yes, we really did let the pooches into Curo Towers for canine capers (no doggies were harmed during the completion of this challenge!)

Challenge #3 – Over August we took part in the Alzheimer’s ‘Swim a Memory Mile‘ raising funds for this amazing charity

Challenge #4 – Our annual golf day raising money for New Hope Worcester

Challenge #5 – A hugely enjoyable challenge – the Curo Bakeathon! We raised just over £100 by all bringing in some home-made goodies and selling them off in aid of Breast Cancer charities.

Challenge #6 – A day at Dodford Childrens’ Holiday Farm, painting, mucking out and getting the swimming pool ready for the children to enjoy over summer. An inspiring and brilliant place, well worth supporting!

Challenge #7 – The Redditch Colour Run for Sight Concern – lots of fun and all for a fabulous cause.

Challenge #8 – Christmas card donations to Dodford – an easy challenge this one! Instead of sending each other Christmas cards, we donated money to Dodford Childrens Holiday Farm. Pic: The cheque handover, plus a hungry donkey!

Challenge #9 – We played as a 6-a-side team for the Higgs & Sons football tournament in June 2016, raising funds for The Stroke Association. Delighted to see some coverage in the Worcester News – despite some early wins, we didn’t come back to Curo HQ with any silverware but had a great day!
