No Christmas cards – donations to charity instead!

Thursday, January 19th, 2017

For the last few years we haven’t sent Christmas cards – instead we’ve put the money towards local charities and the most recent Christmas was no different.

The Basement Project in Bromsgrove, New Hope Worcester and Dodford Childrens Holiday Farm received donations from us to fund their ongoing work. Dropping off our donations at New Hope Worcester gave us the chance to visit Jean Wilson at the thriving ’50p Shop’ in Ronkswood – an enterprising initiative for an excellent cause.

Curo announces new office charities

Monday, October 8th, 2012

Were thrilled to announce the two causes we’ll be supporting over the next year as part of our ongoing CSR programme. Funny Blood, set up by Ruby Edwards is a Malvern-based not for profit organisation raising awareness of the condition ‘Platelet Function Disorder’.

Our other cause is the Dodford Childrens’ Holiday Farm, offering holidays and short breaks to disadvantaged children.

We’ll be putting our heads together to come up with some fun fundraisers and also provide some hands on help at the farm.

Here’s to another successful year of helping local good causes and having plenty of fun too!

Team Curo on Malvern Hills sponsored walk

We were raising money for our nominated office charity, The Bromsgrove Basement Project which helps vulnerable young and homeless people, providing them with a drop in centre and outreach workers providing advice and support.

We’re still collecting and would love your support. Please give what you can by sending a cheque to Carole at: Bromsgrove Baptist Church, New Road, Bromsgrove, Worcs B60 2JD.

Thank you in advance for any support you can give.
