10 years young and still going strong!

In case you’ve missed it, Curo Chartered Accountants is 10 years ‘young’ in 2015 and we’re still buzzing with energy!

Take a look at our ’10 for 10′ challenges, which sees our team completing a series of challenges for fun and for charity. Our CSR programme is jam-packed full of exciting stuff and we support up to 3 charities each year – this year our main charities are Dodford Childrens’ Holiday Farm, New Hope Worcester and The Basement Project, Bromsgrove. As a one-off year, our brave pursuits in the swimming pool, on bikes and other places have helped other charities in 2015 including the NSPCC, Alzheimer’s Association, Sight Concern and Breast Cancer.

Entrepreneurial through and through, we’ve had to face many challenges, such as navigating our way through the economic downturn and adapting to the needs of our clients by expanding our service offering. We were the first chartered accountancy practice in the west midlands to offer probate services and are also proud of the expansion to our payroll team, currently busy helping clients meet the requirements of the new pensions auto enrolment regime.

Taking on apprentices and graduates is something we’ve been doing for a while and we’ve found some real gems – our latest recruit, Harry came to us via Bromsgrove MP Sajid Javid’s Jobs Fair. Our training programme is rigorous and we’re proud to be contributing to the next generation of ACAs, AATs and various other professionally-qualified individuals.
